Congratulations (a little late)
My little sister got married on Saturday. August 28, an excellent day to be married on, in my opinion.
It was beautiful, naturally. She does have an eye for colors and decor.
And I should have written about it then, but….
It was also…weird.
Not tacky-weird, or odd-weird. But very OMG-my-wee-little-sister is getting married weird.
She’s the first baby of the family. See, there are seven of us, but for five or six years, there were only four of us. So she was the baby, before the the last three babies.
Twenty-seven. Sorry, I just felt I was on a roll with all those numbers.
Anyway, to sum up all my babbling and spare you some pain, my little sister got married and it made me feel like we, as a group, are all getting to be grown up. Because the two other weddings, and four-going-on-five children we’ve produced as a group totally didn’t clue me in.
So congratulations to my sister, and her new husband. May the good times be really good, and the bad times not-so-bad.
Slightly Similar Nonsense:
- Congratulations Again
- Conversations with a 4 year old
- 30 Days-Day 2-Something You Love (about yourself)
- Late to the Party
- The laptop is dead, and my husband is an accidental genius
