Dose Of Happy Monday: Clean Kitchens

It’s no secret that I’ve spent a lot of time in the last 5 months or so absolutely freaking miserable.
Like…really really (physically, but also a little mentally)miserable.
Most of the time it’s been about putting one foot in front of the other. With the husband’s week being taken up by school, and his weekends taken up by odd jobs, he hasn’t been around to help much with housework.
But this Sunday, despite being sick Friday and Saturday (on this, his first weekend off in a while) he deep cleaned the kitchen. I mean, to the point where he pulled things out of the cupboards and washed and re-organized them.
The sparkliness of the kitchen is MY dose of happy this week.

If my husband did that I’d be full up on the happy for at least 6 months.  Awesome!

It was a sweet thing for him to do, I know he hates housework just as much as I do:p

If I were smart, I wouldn’t have gotten all mad when my husband re-organised my cupboards some 15 years ago.  In my defense, he also re-orged my computer, having newly returned from traveling for 4 months, without having done anything useful.  I think I was freelance writing, performing in a show nightly AND working a full-on day job.  And he didn’t add value like yours did.

That guy pitches in quite decently, but does not rearrange the kitchen (most of the time) nor my computer.  That’s why I’ve kept him.  =)

But I’m so glad yours did something good for you.  You totally deserve that kind of happy.
