Dose of Happy: Baby things

This week, my dose of happy for Band Back Together’s Dose of Happy Monday is the joint baby shower that my friend and I had this weekend.

Doing it jointly meant I didn’t have to be the only center of attention.

It was child-friendly, so babysitters didn’t have to be lined up.

And I am thismuch closer to having what we need for this one, thanks to some very generous gifts.

      It is up-to-date. I went through it again, to kind of thin it out before our tax return comes, but please don’t feel obligated or anything! Can’t wait to actually meet for lunch or something one of these days:)

    I totally love child friendly baby showers. Because my girls want to attend them so bad, and really, they are quite girly most of the time. My little guy would probably like to go too, but sometimes the girls need a break so I’m always happy to send them out on adventure without us.

      I’ve had to turn down so many events/parties/get-togethers due to a lack of babysitters. The husband’s schedule is all over the map, so it’s not always a sure thing that I can just leave them home. And my friend has the same issue, so we really wanted to make sure everyone who wanted to come, could come, ya know?
