Making it official

Today, I am making an official announcement.

Today, I am not quitting blogging. I am, however, planning on slowing way down.

Yes, I know, do I really need to tell you that? Haven’t I already BEEN on an unofficial hiatus from The Blogging?

Eh, fair enough.

But, it’s official now!

I’m choosing to spend the summer focusing on small children, and household projects. I’m also going to continue to volunteer at Band Back Together. Hopefully, this will allow me to come back to blogging later, with a refreshed perspective and less of a burned-out feeling.

I know the blogging experts tell you not to do this. They tell you that you will lose readers. That your numbers will go down! You’ll never be a Blogging Star if you don’t keep yourself in front of the Blogging Masses!

And they are probably right. But right now, I’m okay with that. While I love the community that I’m a part of, I don’t think that community is centered here. So many of you know where else you can find me. And if you don’t know where to find me, well, feel free to ask. I won’t bite.

And don’t worry, I’ll be back. You can’t get rid of me that easily;)

    I get it! I disappeared from blogging a few months, err, years (?) ago. I should have made it officially temporary so people would still come back and check to see if I came back yet. Hmm, except no one was really reading me before that, ha ha. I love the idea of at least taking the summer off (again for me). I am with you in spirit!

      lol, I’ve walked away from it before, just to come back. So I’ve learned to consider it temporary.
