Dear Daughter of Mine,
You will grow up seeing love all over the place. Television shows, romantic movies and books will have you convinced that love is this wonderful beautiful thing (and it is) that you just fall into one day, and then you live happily ever after with Prince (or Princess) Charming.
Baby girl, I hate the idea that some day that bubble will burst all over you…

Monday, September 19th, 2011I’ve talked before about Band Back Together. The Band is doing amazing things, and now it’s time to take it to the next level. The Powers That Be over at the Band are looking to file for non-profit status. The paperwork is being handled and the ball is rolling. The only thing holding up the process is the (steep) filing fee!
But the Band has a plan.
An auction chock full of donated goodies. Art, clothing, jewelry, stationary and SO MUCH MORE. And you could get your hands on some of this awesomeness, just by bidding at the Band Back Together Auction. And it starts TODAY!
So you can do some good, do some Christmas shopping and not even change out of your PJs.
